Had a feeling that'd be the case. Need to make sure they come straight back up to the Premiership next season. Matt, does that mean your season ticket will be cheaper now?
Not sure how much difference in price the ST will be, knowing the finace guy there probably not much, although there are more teams in Div 1 so more matches. My mate rang after the game, he'd watched the sarries game and sounded like once they'd realised wasps couldn;t win they just sat back and let wus take the win Lance the boil, build a winning mentality, break all our own records from 1995, win some silverware at Twickenham and take the b*stards by storm when we come back up. With a bit of luck we will never have to play Worcester again either !

Yes, all things considered I feel better ! Just been reading the Saints website fans forum thingy.....what a bunch of w*nkers ! I said three months ago that I was never going to contribute to that forum again (publicly) but today was my biggest test........I managed to obstain, maintain some common sense and a sense of decorum but it was close

I'm the same, don't bother posting on it anymore, there seems to be a group who just sl*g off anything thats said that they don't agree with. I'm getting quite close to not even reading it now. Seems to be 2 camps in there now, one goup who think there is no problems there at all, and the other that think everyone should be sacked, including uncle Keith who is useless and has done the club no good at all We were chatting after the game, and the one bit of good we came up with for being in div 1, is no more games on fridays and sundays and every game kicks off at 3

I don't know about that but you will need to buy a pair of wellies for some of the away games (no....not the sheep....). You can still stand holding the rope at some of the grounds !
Rope ? What rope ? I miss the old days down at Saracens where you could wander round the pitch, or even onto it if you felt like it
oops, guess i shouldn't have mentioned sarries, right ?

Those were the days when Sarries had their own ground, not a football ground
I know

Sarries never had their own ground. They played in a public park with about 200 seats and a rope round the pitch. If I remember correctly the pitch was "ridge & furrow" from end to end and you were in great danger of falling over yourself just walking round the edge !

I'm not sure there were as many as 200 seats, or whether you could in fact call them 'seats' at all ! And the rope only came out for the 'big' games
Saracens are still there - only it doesn't see much 1st team action these days
