Air Ambulance Fundraising
Discussion
OK you guys. Here's how to raise money for the Air Ambulance in your patch, and to have a great day's racing with the fastest motor racing in Europe.
Team Air Ambulance is running in the SCSA V8 Trophy on the only proper superspeedway circuit in the UK - Rockingham, Corby, Northants.
Racing to raise money for the Air Ambulance Charities. Every Thunder Sunday ticket sold raises £2 for the charities. Buy tickets : 0870 735 5000 (24hrs) and quote the ref: AIR AMBULANCE
Tickets cost £10 plus a booking fee of £1. Under 15's free.
On the gate it'll cost you £15, and none of that goes to charity!
Money is distributed to the air ambulance charity associated with the postcode of the purchaser.
Come and see us in the paddock in the "V8 Village".
Let's help them save more lives!

Thanks bud!!
All the help we can get is great!!!
Although I've been blowing my own trumpet, there are other "charity" cars running in the SCSA (formerly Days of Thunder) series - we have cars running for the Fire Service Benevolent Fund, the RAF Benevolent Trust, Crimestoppers, and Ben.
With the way that Pistonheaders got together to help out YAA when the Hamster had his "slight off" last year, I thought you'd all love to have another go, and what's more, get a day out too!
There are 5 rounds, plus two airshows where at least half a dozen cars will do a demo (and be loud!).
The last round of the series (at "Motorfest" falls in National Air Ambulance Fundraising week, so expect even more press-ganging for that!
The grandstands hold 55000 people, so there's plenty of space for everyone!! And you can see the whole circuit from the granstands, so you'll never miss a thing.
Regards
Rob.

And I don't want to see you either!!! Nor the innards of one of those East Mids Ambulances (former Two Shires) - I saw enough of them when I installed their Mobile Data terminals!!
I'd say that I'd wave as I go past, but I think I might be too busy!
