Hi,

Just to say I'll be moving to the the delights of Towcester next week - the neighbours will be so pleased with the sound of twin 4 inch sidepipes echoing down the street.

Hope to see you at the local meets,

Tony

Hi welcome, very nice looking car. I understand from my neighbour (who has a C5) there is a Corvette meeting planned soon at a pub in/near Uppingham. I don't know any details I'm afraid but I'm sure someone will post soon. Dave

Tony

Unless there are three cars like yours we've meet at Blenheim and NEC last year

I know it's very, very short notice but if you're down this way tonight the local Bears are having our first gathering tonight email me for details

And I've got something you might enjoy for Sat 12 May

Don't forget to let us have your new address for club postings (one due soon)

Thanks, Nigel

Hi, seem to be running into a few familiar faces here!

Sorry Nigel, can't do tonight as in London. Free in May though. Hope to come to as many Bears events as possible this year - certainly Evesham, Gaydon and the NEC.

Great news Tony, thumbup I'll send you details for 12th May when I get your new address details (I've sent you a PM)

I should have added, I met your dad as well and we were in Sheila's loan silver Diahatsu Copen at Blenheim and I was the one selling the mags at the NEC, so you're able to place me

Northants PHers are in for a treat when they see your cars (especially the Racer !)

I've put all three events on the PH Calender if you want to add your name

Hope to see you soon, Nigel

Tony, got your PM thanks, Bears national newsletter will be posted at the end of next week to your very appropriate new address

I'll send you a reminder nearer the time about May event

Cars at tonight's local Bears gathering at Queen Eleanor pub (don't think we'll go back there)

In no particular order (sorry too dark for good photos)

Jaguar XK conv. (roof down) - Lotus Elan M100 (yellow) - Daihatsu Copen (with roof down) - Maxda MX5 - Dax Cobra (very nice and fast) - TVR Chim 4l - TVR Chim 450 - Westfeild 130 (no roof) - Marcos Mantara - Skoda Octavia VRS - '69 Lotus Elan plus 2 (lovely) - and an Aprilia 1000 motorbike (instead of E-Type roadster)

Dave, the landlord at the Waggon & Horses is into American cars - I think it's a Corvette he has, plus something else that he drag races. He doesn't have much space for a meet though..... While I'm spending money on several pints of his Bombardier tonight I'll see what he knows.

Longers, I understand the landlord at the Waggon and Horses has that and another pub, the White something, somewhere in Rutland (I know, good clues). And it is likely to be hime that is organising the event.

Scovette: just seen more pics of your car in a mag, very nice too!
