Wheel Refurb...
Discussion
I've managed to cause minor damage to three of my alloys so far on the Elise, and was considering a refurb. I'm also thinking of having them done in black. Can anybody recommend a place locally?
Central, I seem to remember your crazy Porsche driving mate (also called Mark) having his refurbed locally..?

I had a couple of wheels on my Cerbera done at Pristine Wheels in Woburn Sands (just outside Milton Keynes). They did a cracking job, stripped the wheel right down to bare alloy and completely re-finished from scratch. They can paint them any colour you want as well when they re-finish.

If I remember it cost me about £65-70 per wheel, so not the cheapest, but would recommend them as they did a superb job. They even give you photos of the wheels when they have been stripped right down so you can see any signs of possible future corrosion (which you could a lot on my Cerb!!)

Aha! Yes Pete, I think he did. I`ll get onto it.... Central, I seem to remember your crazy Porsche driving mate (also called Mark) having his refurbed locally..?
I've been down to Pristine as well - nice bunch of lads, although they couldn't help with my 'problem' unfortunately, but they spent a long time trying and didn't charge me for their efforts.
We had the Cerbera wheels refurbed at a place near Hemel Hempstead, can't remember what it was called but it was out in the sticks and in a big shed They did a good job and were reasonable, if I remember their name I'll post it up.

Thanks for all the recommendations everyone. Mrs BlueCerbera & Central, info. appreciated if you can obtain it. Matt, I think the place on Leyland has unfornately gone now. Sounds like Pristine is certainly worth a call...
After much trawling off past threads (which was interesting and killed a few minutes ) I think I've finally found the guys we used a couple of years ago ;

Hiya Peter
Long time no speak mate!
Be carefull how they are done...I am informed that powder coating can cause hairline cracks on some alloy wheels. Also try and go for graphite, black inside, with a laquered finish If you go plain black it can look a bit naff.
Personally i wouldn't let any of these wheel repair places paint my wheels...you need a proper bodyshop to get a finish that you will be properly happy with.
Just had mine done on the Gallardo....few pics for you bud.
