Yeah, well worth going. 100s of cars and bikes. The only downsides of the April meet is the short evening and wet cricket pitch. By mid-summer it lasts till past 10pm.
Hiya! Yes should be 10/4. However, I doubt if the field will be open until next month. Tony Tiger and I went in April last year and even though the field was not open there were perhaps 200 people milling around (weather was OK), with the pub car park full and cars parked allalong the sides of the cricket pitch. We intend to go next week partly as I feel the more that go early on, the more it will encourage people for next month.
As regards the time, when the weather is better it can be a good idea to aim for about 17.00 as there have been times when the main field has been full by 18.00. As I'm now working in Cambs I imagine I'll get there about 17.30.
