You going to disturb the peace with the Cerb?

Can't really help ya afraid, I know a real good pub north of Coventry, but that is a fair way to go from there.

What about putting a call in to our good friends at Guglielmi's - I assume they will know the area.......?

OK, right you're taking a lady friend there (?)

Bear in mind I've been married for 21 years so we only go to pubs for the beer

Ashby St Ledgers, model village, gun powder plot, Old Coach House (hotel), we've not been for about a year so ring to check 01788 890 349

Great Brington, Althorp Coaching Inn (Fox and Hounds ) nearer Northampton, sit to the side of the bar for intimacy, wealthy area but allows for village types and not so wealthy, (01604 770 651)

Newnham, Romers Arms, I've never been there pub was closed when I used to go to the village, (01327 70 22 21) but it's a nice village in a nice area with Everdon Bluebell Woods and probably lots of birds

Depends on what you want, the pub by the canal in Braunston (a mile outside Dav.) is good and has plenty of parking.
