Today was a sad day in the Markytop household as due to other commitments (namely F-ing great mortgage after moving house to Milton Keynes) and putting money aside for future projects I have today sold my Cerbera. weeping

Its been a great car, I have loved owning it and I certainly wouldn't be against buying another Tiv when funds allow. I will certainly miss the noise (modesty forbids me to mention that Blipi & Justin think it was one of the best sounding Cerbs) and the speed (although it is scary how quickly that becomes the norm and you want more and more power - if I had kept it, the next stage was going to a whirlwind induction kit & remap to take it over 400bhp)

My main mode of transport for the next few weeks will be my Toyota Aygo, so will you still love me and will I be allowed to bring that to the Sywell meets?? I'll promise to park it away from all your fancy new-fangled sports cars so you don't get jealous of its immense 68bhp. (Although it might give SportingBear's Copen a run for its money )

Maybe I could get a VW van and join Mr Baker in a 'ex-TVR owners buy a van' club. biglaugh

Tough matey - and stop showing off just because your car is 68 hp and Mrs Beer's is only 64 hp

On the bright side the two of us ex-TVR owners could combined on the road to cause a long queue of powerful sports cars

Both of your cars have got more power than the P5 at the moment. In fact it has a poer to weight ratio of 0bhp/ton

Thats very true, it may be small but as with many things if you use it right, you can keep exotica behind you - ask the bloke in the gorgeous sounding De-Tomaso Pantera who witnessed Aygo power on the A421 round Bedford a couple of months back biglaugh

Gone to James Agger, who offered a fair price given he knew the history of it. (He spec'd and sold it new when he worked for TMS). To have sold it myself for top money, I would have had to put a new clutch on it, and ideally got the stone chips on the front fixed, so think I got a fair deal given he is going to have to carry that work out before re-sale.

I used to knock Matts 172 clio thingy, but that was a bloody good car, stuck like glue and almost as fast as the Elise (above 5k)
