So the missis wants to go out with her friends in soul central at the end of March clubbing. Iv heard that there have been quite a few muggings happening in Northampton recently and they said they will be leaving the clubs at 4 in the morning and making their own ways home.
Im not going to let her go on her own but I feel as though instead of having a good time i will have to be a bodygaurd for the night and stay alert!

Am i just being stupid and a little bit paranoid?!

I agree that building is a shocking indictment
of contemporary architecture locally,

Can she book a taxi?
I wouldnt walk in Northampton at 4am on my own, but would feel quite OK about waiting for a taxi that I knew was coming

4am??? Thats late, didn't realise places were open til then.

I wouldnt be walking home at 4am either! best be would be to book a taxi in advance. agreed soundhaus is pretty good if you like that kind of music, charles bradlaugh is open till 1, or if you knwo a member, auntie ruths is a good bet
But certainly think you're being a bit paranoid if you think there are punchups and muggings going on in Northampton every night

most of the muggings I heard of have been people walking across dark parks on their own in the middle of the night, which I'm assuming your other half and her mates won't be doing

BUT -

On a dark night, a young couple met in the "Central Hall". The year was 1959. The names of the couple were June Hefford............... and John Skinner!!!!

Years later I met some old bird called Maureen Walsh in the same establishment. eek My life has now taken a downward spiral.
