I have some land in Northants that is currently not doing anything, if anybody has any old junk that they cant skip you are welcome to store it here free. No catches apart from you have to deliver. When I need the junk removing I will get read of it legally at my cost.

Sounds a bit mad I know, but always willing to help out fellow PH'ers.

Does the said piece of land have a large area of concrete or tarmac suitable for tyre shredding antics?

I'd have a squint at the Town and Country Panning Act 1990, from sections 176 to 215, before you start doing that mate. Enforcement, Stop and Untidy Land notices tend to be a PIA

The Smiths of Desborough may be interested.

They`ve got a few caravans, some old tyres, matresses and a couple of broken cookers....

Similar problem with a piece of land in prime commuter belt- same tactics were tried by my wife's uncle 30 years sgo and just ended up with a clear up notice even then.

I cant go into details, I already have planning. Its complicated and not as one sided as people may think. I have checked with ELVIS and if I stored dilapadated vehicles on the site they could not touch them without my permission. Any clear up order / fine is purely regarded as a business cost.

How about a spell inside? Injunctions? Contactors being engaged to clear up with the costs being secured against your property? Compulsory acquisition of the land from you (at agricultural value or whatever is the permitted use)? All good clever stuff

I aim to dis-please. You need people like me otherwise you would have no one to have a go at. Consider it a service.

Might want to take your own advice on that one.

Consider Pupp as one who may have some knowledge about planning matters.

Well if you advise the one we are currently dealing with, I would say that is certainly the case.

See there you go again. Assumming. Its got nothing to do with the council. Like I said I already have planning. You also assumme I am the bad guy in this (granted it may look like that on face value) but i can assure you I am not.
