That`s a good record, Alan.

Something else happening at the mo is Singing Blackbirds and Song Thrushes. To the novice, the Thrush is recognisable by the repeating phrases in it`s song.

I can remember years ago doing my last grass cut in October and first in March / April. Now it seems to be November / Feb.

That'll be that global warming thingy getting back into our lives again.!!
my own mower had an outing a few weeks ago...not a hard cut, only to tidy it up....but also because we couldn't see the dog !

Blackbird in our garden collecting nesting material the other day and a report of a Sand Martin at Summer Leys (Earls Barton) today. nerd That`s a proper summer migrant. thumbup
