Sadly, I work from home, so I'm unable to work the system. However, my daughter's school is closed, so she gets the day off. And I can't go for my daily pilgrimage to St Arbucks.

Don't bank on this snow clearing that quickly. Temperatures are set to get pretty cold later and put a coating of ice over the snow thats left. If you drive an elise i bet it'll be a hoot hehe

We'll be taking a day off to take photos for the R & D Technical Recruitment 2007 christmas cards so i'll be throwing snowballs at the ducks....and maybe at Hazel too

My wife aborted the drive to work.
Living just oustside Daventry, lanes are at a standstill and we have about 4inches
on the ground with blizzard like conditions at -1c

The journey to work this morning was certainly interesting. Made it from Leighton to MK ok though, eventually.

That`s the A43 in the distance. It`s clear, but not much traffic.

Just got back from Mission Snowpossible......

Pitsford Resevoir....excellent.... Donuts were never so easy
Harlestone Furs....absolutely stunning with 6" of snow. It's been such a long time since we had a proper dollop of icing.

Shedloads of cars stuck on hills in snow up to the axles around Spratton and across the way at Teeton. I passed a few vans around lanes that weren't gritted struggling to get up the hills. Doesn't anyone remember how to drive in snow anymore??

Thank crunchie for 4 wheel drive and all those things i ever said about Toyo Tyres in the snow.....i take it all back.
