Snow is predicted to be really heavy in the early hours, but is the MET office being over cautious, will we end up with 1cm?

My boss has just wandered around the office giving people his mobile number so they can get in touch if they can't get in to work tomorrow.
He turned to me and said 'I know you will be here tomorrow, because you have four wheel drive'....grrr.
The scooby strong point has just become a weak point...lol

(I managed to get about in the last lot of heavy snow in a rwd and survived).

So what are you expecting when you wake up tomorrow?

waveyWorking from home tomorrow, 200bhp fwd Saab on wide tyres or a mid-engined rwd and too far to work in the Landy. Nah, I'll let the numpties fall off the road and stay in the warm!

Hope we get loads - makes the walk to school so much more fun and its so much easier to get the kids out the door when there's snow out there ! I'll be spending the day in Abington Park making snowmen

Can't wait.

Very thin covering in Leics, not enough to cause trouble yet.

It took me 1hr 10 mins to travel 7 miles.

I watched poor rwd cars going nearly sideways up and down a hill near my house, many giving up.

The snowy landscape looks very pretty though.

? Jacked it in ?

SWMBO had to go in this morning so I said take the Saab rather than the TF. Wouldn't even get to the top of the road - sheet ice under 1" of snow! Our village had seen no cars by 08.00 as we have 2 steep hills each side. Nice dog walk though until my stupid fluffy Cavaliers became so "snow-balled" they couldn't walk - crap dogs really!!!

At least they didn't get buried in the snow.
I hope you carried them home.

Funnier to watch them trying to walk with a load of white tennis balls under them and on their fronts! I did crush them off half way around the field then banned them from anywhere nice in the house until it all melted!
