Very brave, me. After attending one run out, I thought I'd have a go at organising one. Plan is this:

Meet at BP / McDonalds at Raunds (on the A45) at 9:30 for a 10:00 departure on Sunday, 25/2/7. Bimble around a bit and have lunch at a pub. Then amble back in a sort of reverse run.

Attendees:
Spokey
Sporting Bear
Blipi (cancelled)
OLYC
obes
mark r skinner
scubiedoo
petclub
bigrah (possibly)
itsadeal (if he's not doing his nails)
skid solo (cancelled)
markytop
MOSS JAG (possibly)
Naughty Neville & Full Pint

The starting point is outside Northants, but the route is all in Northants. If you want to get geopolitical about it, we can always start at Raunds.

Brampton Hut is very easy to find.

Yep.

I didn't realise there was something "official" happening the next week, quite happy to change the dates if that works better.

Spokey - brave man (fool) for organising a run

Should be able to make it in one of the three slow cars available might even be a carb test run for the GT6

I would vote for Sunday from Raunds (don't need a passport then)

Pub - do you need a copy of The Good Beer Guide? any info on that subject you know where to look

Good luck

OK, so we have a clear preference for Sunday, then?

Should we make it the 18th, instead? confused

It`s up to you. My advice is - don`t try anything too ambitious on your first attempt.

What, like organising a runout?

Seriously, though, can I get a yea or a nay on the 25th, if there is something happening the next weekend?

At the risk of being a pain in the a**** ...

Valentines Day is on the Wednesday before - Sunday pubs are busy with lunches anyway so car parks are busy add possible "luvvers" lunching ??

Doesn't affect us, we've been together 29 years and never had a Vaentines meal out yet

your best bet is to just decide on the date yourself, this has happened on other run/meet type things and you will end up spending more time trying to please everyone. whatever date you pick there is bound to be someone that can't make that date. I should just stick to your original date and see what happens

As I'm currently "available", I didn't think of that.

OK, let's go with Sunday 25/2/7, 9:30 for 10:00 start at the BP / McDonalds at Raunds.

Now, who's in?

Yep, I'd be interested if I am free when the date is arranged!

As for the first w/e in March that MAY not be such a good date, not sure yet.
