Use it as an excuse for a blip, go out driving and you will spot signs for displays.

Santa Pod have there usual one. I think Northampton town have one on the Sat, then there are many smaller displays.

Apart from that, the local paper will list displays.

These are the only ones I know of, will hopefully be going to Santa Pod. Of course, there's always the fireworks display at The Ace on Friday night too !

Northampton Town's is on the Sunday.

Coz my folks are up I need somewhere for the Saturday night and sadly a blip would be out of the option box (unless I selfishly go out on my own!)

You need to look before the weekend to find the displays, that is why I said it was a good excuse for a blip

No idea what night it's on this year but the Corby one at the Boating Lake is normally really impressive and has the benefit of being free

As an aside, guess who won the best guy competition in the very first one in about 1969 (and who also bawled his eyes out when his prize-winning guy was chucked atop the bonfire )

Well, the sun was out, it was beautiful, Blipi's roof had to come down and I have just been for a good B road blip!

I feel like I have sunburn but I think it's just the temperature change from cold air slapping my grinning chops to stifling warm office!

Hollowell do have a display on Saturday. However, as I was chasing a bike I didn't catch on the hand written sign when it started! Oh well, guess I will have to go out again later!

Past years Hollowell has a bloody good bonfire! Loads of pallets stacked high. They have steam engines and few bits and pieces, like a rally really. Have quite good fireworks.

Never been but, Santa Pod has Flame and Thunder show with racing throughout day sat and sun. Have fireworks at night and drag demo's through night which looks pretty good. Should imagine they'd have good fireworks.

Corby boating lake has fireworks display on tonight, not sure what time prob around half 6? It is normally a good one, and it's free.

I was at Abbey Park in Leicester with the bin lids on Saturday night. What an amazing display, 20-25 minutes of awesome fireworks cracking off over head and we were a happy bunch.

The bonfire didn't seem to go to plan, too much black smoke concealed the rocket on top until it had burnt away, and someone seemed to have unplugged the speakers, so the symphony orchestra couldn't be heard, but the fireworks were the best i've ever seen.
