Anyone else see the ITV1 coverage of the Goodwood revival meeting at 11pm last night?

Some of the best racing i've seen for years with £millions being raced hard.

The best race was the saloons which ranged from little Austin A35's battling it out with HUGE MKVII Jags. Sir Stirling Moss was in a MKVII and spun it through 360 deg! Spectacular!!!!

Might have to go next year!

The 60's bikes were good too and I'm not usually the no.1 fan of bike racing.

Reports and some pic from this year's meetimng at www.goodwood.co.uk/revival/

Oooo can I borrow the copy?!

It is well worth going to Alan. I've been a fan of Goodwood for a number of years and still believe the Revival is one of the best motorsport days out you can do.

I watched about 10 minutes of it then suddenly another show was on....oops (I prefered when ITV put the coverage on in the afternoon, at least I could stay awake).

Watched it last night.
Fantastic, so good to see the old boys racing classics.

If only modern motorsport was as entertaining, Stirling Moss was awesome, looked like he could hardly walk unaided but throwing the monstrous old Jag about.
Watching the little A35 was a real David and Goliath battle.

As for the bikes, fook wouldn't want to ride at legal speeds on those skinny old tyres let alone giving handfulls in the damp, mad.

I want to go.........
