Evening all wavey

I thought I had already started a thread about this in the Northants pages but it looks like I forgot (thanks for the reminder Mr Skinner!) I'll put it down to not enough sleep and too many nappies to change wobble

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=303671&f=11&h=0

Anyone fancy a run over this way on 17/9? I suggest we do this while the weather is good i.e. soon, and then have a beer / food night as discussed in the other thread later in Sept or early Oct when the weather is more appropriate for staying in and drink

Let me know when you know

I remember a recent post in the Northants forum that was talking about advertising things to a wide audience then getting swamped with people and the problems that could cause..... If you (or anyone else) knows peeps who'd like to come along feel free to invite them. Even though I've not got to the Thursday meets since the first one and haven't met all of the regulars, I know a few of the Kettering / Northants crowd already so am more comfortable keeping it "in the family" if you know what I mean.

There were 20 cars the last time I tried to organise something like this and I think there may be a dozen or so cars there on Sunday, which is enough for me to lead in a drive round Rutland! Don't forget, Rutland is the smallest county in the country so we'd not have room for too many cars to stretch their legs!!

I'll confirm a suggested meeting place tomorrow when I've done a quick recce of a couple of roads but am thinking of meeting on or near the Rutland / Northants border at 12ish? Dont forget your passports hehe

Evening all wavey

Apologies for not posting details earlier but have been flat out at work and home!

I've been out and done a quick recce driving and suggest the following.....
Meet at the Castle Inn, Caldecott, on the Rutland border at 12.15 Sunday (on the Rockingham side of Caldecott on the right just before traffic lights / bridge) then at 12.30 head to the Fox & Hounds, Exton to get there for 1.00ish where there's a nice green we can park around. The landlady has confirmed we can turn up and order sarnies on the day, but if anyone wants the full roast it's best to book a table. Their no. is 01572 812403.

After drink & burger & blabla head off for a driving round the northern part of Rutland.

Petclub will be coming from Leicester direction with a couple of cars so if anyone else wants to meet up with him on the way drop him an email.

Because of work commitments I'll not be able to get to the Thurs meet tomorrow but I'll hopefully see some of you on Sunday
