Short attention span, too much to read for me. Good thing I don't have a K series!

Sure it will be a great link for others though.

Yeah was OK but must admit have been to better. I also guess the novelty wears off after a few times. Getting a bit too 'popular' now. Also didn't manage to get the paddock pass as usual as they were already being used. That makes a big difference to the day IMO. Still it is a fantastic day out and an event I still enjoyed greatly!

Saw Stirling Moss in the AA Land Rover. It's great how he is still very publicly active in the motor sport world.

Didn't dress up although would have loved to. Would really add a humourous edge! Did you? If so, photos required!

Ooo, also saw the bestest Scooby Doo ever! Will have to look at how to host pics...

Fantastic to see a Mini Icecream van which most people never believed existed!

A friend of mine was owns a few Austin Healy's, one off them was raced buy Stirling Moss (grey #2) and Stirling raced it on Saturday. Chris raced in the same race but put it on its roof at Woodcote. I had a press pass but didn't realise what it was until 5pm. banghead

Indeed it is interesting. I had one of the first 2 series Rovers fitted with the K and was always impressed with the engine.

I'd heard rumours of there being HGF on it but never knew anyone who actually had one that went.

Interesting thread... My Elise went in for her head gasket today (with all the symptoms) but it's looking like it's just the inlet manifold gasket with the problem. I'll find out when she's back - should be ready by Thursday... smokin
