I know some of you go up there for meets occasionally so thought i'd just let you know to be careful with your cars (if not already!) as my mum's got broken into up there last night! It's a busy place if I remember correctly so not sure how they got away with screwdrivering the lock of a MK4 Golf then emptying the contents of it onto the floor before realising there was nothing worth taking. Going to cost my mum £250 excess because she left her car alone for a couple of hours.

You probably stand near the cars anyway but i'm sure a thief would love the prospect of a dozen performance cars to steal stuff from or joyride in

This will have happened at the Locks pub.

The classic gathering is at the Black Horse and I the car park is small enough to be monitored by those attending.

Sorry to hear about your Mum's car though.

not 100% sure where, as I didn't go and don't really know the place!

I don't think that would have happened at the black horse as most people seemed to be in the car park. I left my car with the roof down, and all was as I left it when I got back to it.

There's a public pay & display above the top-flight, outside the village, which is a notorious black-spot for break-ins etc
