After a few driving adventures in Scotland I have generated interest from others and am keen to promote the miles of fun that you can have from a driving holiday there.

I know it is very early planning but thought I would see what interest there would be from other Northamptonites joining me next year.

I would ike to co-incide it with Callander Classics again and possibly a blip around Knockhill track. Generally I go budget and freedom by camping (also gives option for FIRE! evil ) However for you softies I am sure B&B or alternative living arrangements can be arranged.

Please give a quick note here if you would be intersted so I can guage whether I will need to make group plans for people.

Justin will hopefully post up a few of my snaps to give a small idea of what is up there.

'Hey you Jimmy' hats are not required...

Alison and I would be interested. Alison is a big Scotland fan and we already know some of the delights of the empty road up there.

I haven't been to the highlands for many years but I remember chasing a souped up Range Rover i my MG Monetgo at speeds of, well, shall we say plenty! The roads and scenery are great. Ig poss you MUST incluse the trip around Loch Awe near Oban. The road round the back of the loch is awesome. I have some video footage of the Rover if anyone can host it.

Scotland is brilliant for driving but the weather can be a bit irritating so we would probablt not do the "under canvas" thing.

We could always do www.huntingtower-lodges.com/home.html - We've stayed there a couple f times and as they sleep up to 6 they can work out quite reasonable.

Would love to come Blipi, but time, money and family responsabilities usually suppress any fun I might have.

Those pictures are lovely, don't panic Stef, the browser resizes them for you, if you click on them you can view them full scale, or print them for that matter.

I do want to go very badly after seeing these.

I would be up for this seeing as I didn't get to go this year. Although as I mentioned the other day I really want to go to the Isle of Lewis, although it is really just to say that I've been there.
