Proof that the Old Rover was put to the test
Discussion
Just found some pics of "Benson" being hooned around Castle Coombe on a Haynes classic motorsport day. This is probably the best:
I held off the MG for two laps until my 8 laps were over! Needless to say the 911 fared better!
Can't post as the file is too large - Grrr! How do I edit the size (reduce the data) of a picture without losing the full picture?

If your using paint, go to [image] and select [stretch skew] and enter percentage in for reduction.
Or
You can right click the file and select [mail to], this will then give an option to resize before sending, select 640 x 480 this will then reduce size and place in a new email.
You can then remove the file from this email and use it.

I thought that PH had its own resizing program that shrunk the pics down to fit, might be wrong though, what hosting site are you using?I held off the MG for two laps until my 8 laps were over! Needless to say the 911 fared better!

Excellant mate!
Good to see Benson in his element.
Must be pretty frightening really, not the best handling car in the world!
(No offence).

Note the castors fitted to the door handles
Like most cars of the era, once you understand the body roll and set it up for cornersa ccordingly its surprising how fast it can be hustled along.
Bear in mind I had just rebuilt the suspension so I was confident that all the components were in good order
