Have browsed the forums occasionally and have decided to take the plunge. I drive a 1986 VW Scirocco which is slowly being developed for Volkswagen drag racing/run what you brung. Being a real motor racing enthusiast I am not a great F1 fan, but love Sportscars and historic motorsport of the 60/70s era. You can probably gather from that that I am the wrong side of 50, but you know what they say. You dont stop playing cos you get old, you get old cos you stop playing. Pam my other (better?) half reckon she deserves an award for 30 odd years hanging round various circuits, stages and muddy fields watching cars go round and round or whiz past in the blink of an eye!!!
Forgot to say that we live in Rushden by the way.

Welcome to the forum!

Fee free to pop along for a natter. We are at the Trading post Junction 8 A14 most Thursadys from about 7.30.

There are usually about 8+ of us although tonight's meet was quiet with only 5 inc one newbie!

Hello Joe, It would be excellent if you could join us. We dont just hang about the trading post, we sometimes go out for a drive. Need to post a picture of us all somehow.
