Got a toy for the weekend, as my Passat is out on loan i have my sisters 'Sport Ka'.
Well..........
Round town and low speed cornering, up to about 50-60 mph, marvellous, handles like a go-kart.
Managed to get 110mph out of it fairly easy.
High speed cornering.....

Oh Fk!
If ever a car was designed for towns this is great, but put it into a high speed bumpy bend.
Far too much grip! I know doesn't sound like a bad thing but.... Well pop down Alan Ford and try one, (Don't try the convertible version cause it's sh@t! Sideways? Not a chance just digs in and not enough power to break traction.
Scared me to be fair, probably actually slower up the Glendon Rd than the Passat, if you don't know this Rd ask Steph or Justy.
Great fun, reverse cambers and big air in the right car.
Or maybe i'm just a nutter behind the wheel?

Overall? A bit dissapointing but if i was 18 and cruised town all night, the ultimate twon centre cruiser.
Looks pretty good i think too, bit gurly but still OK.

PS Sis, if your reading this i drove nice and steady and never went over the speed limit!

It's a great road once you know it! Best ever drive was Clio Williams, mental! The only car i drove and felt it was me that wimped out!

Don't think my kid sis would approve!

Maybe we should have a test drive day, pile into local garage and race with the sales folk.

Reminds me of a game we used to play when we were young.
Start at a back street garage and test drive a shed then take that too the next garage and get something better, repeat unil you get something nice. Me and an old mate used to do this as a regular Saturday entertainment.

(Note we were only 17 and couldn't afford our own cars).
