Last night I persuaded Alison to the TiV!

She had been very reluctant as I think she thought it would be a handful but after a shaky start of stalling it a few times (scared of revving it?) she took to it like a duck to water.

She says she enjoyed the drive apart from the "stiff" gearchange (no knob jokes please!)

My only worry now is that I'll never be able to get my hands on the keys.

I see what she means about feeling vulnerable in the passenger seat though. The upright passenger bulkhead (battery cover) doesn't help!

They met and she so wants to.......go racing.

Methinks we need to persuade her to give up the day job... whatever that is!

There's a lovely pink convertible Tasmin availible for hire next year as a Class C car.

The perfect thing to get a girlie started in motorsport, it worked for Graham, even trying to get Lexie to go out and play in it!!!

Geez I spend one eveining off line and look what happens...

OK lets go through these...

Mark - I have an auto choke, and no handbag

Ian - hell yeah! Let me at the racing stuff! However pink is not my colour

Alan - dig all you like. Handbrake was on just due to having hot brakes, when they cooled handbrake failed. Or maybe I didn't pull hard enough?!

Of course, the degree of heat expansion affecting a brake rotor, such as might cause rolling problems on cool-off, is directly proportional to the amount of stick the brakes have received immediately before application of the brake. Reckon you guys who have never had a car roll off are the pussies on the pedal

Or, maybe some of us leave the car in gear to avoid this problem.

How much 'braking' do you think a 1.6 low-comp turbo motor provides?
