I'm in Kettering

I'll prolly pop along to one of the meets at some point but my car's a bit of an embarrasment at the moment! Completely standard 1998 civic coupe!

Also looking at the run threads, i take it it's just a meet with a bit of driving too? What sorta cars do you lot drive?

I've noticed a few nice cars parked there some nights.. that explains it!

How will I know who everyone is though? I've been to meets before where people are really unapproachable and stick together in little groups

Everyone there is friendly

Look at Mark's profile and you'll know what he looks like and just introduce yourself and take from there.

And don't worry about not being in the fastest car. Mine may look nice, but it's got 147 horsepower and goes from 0 to 60 in eight and a half minutes!!!!!

Eight and a half minutes..............need to put your platforms on so you can push the pedal all the way to the floor

now hides for cover

hello

The Northants run isn't where we all meet up on a sunday
and it's got nothing to do with us
and it isn't a bit of a blatt around the northamptonshire roads

..these walls have ears you know

PistonHeads is a public forum and can't be seen to endorse 'runs' in the countryside. If a run should ever take place PH has nothing to do with it.

It feels that bloody slow. Especially now I've been in an Elise, Chimaera, Porsche 996 TT, Noble and Gallardo!!!

What he means is that there are no such things as organised runs and there is no-one in particular heading up any gatherings or suggestions.

These things arrtact unwanted attention and we are just a bunch of elbow patched geeks who enjoy just looking at cars

Anyway, welcome man! We'll probably be in the car park by our trusty steeds for a while so should be easy enoough to spot. If you are there by 8:30ish we'll probably still be out.

Looking forward to seeing the convoy pleasently lead by the BIB!
