Haven't seen a thread for 2018 yet, so I'll start - LOVELY all black Aventador on the A45 in Northampton earlier - Not sure if it was the PH smiley on my boot that made the driver drop a gear or two but it sounded awesome

Just after 9 this morning I was heading south on the A5 from Leicester, after an early morning ran up the Welford Road in the Zenos. I found myself behind a McLaren identical to the one above (but on a private plate). “Cool”, I thought, “same colour scheme as me”.
The McLaren was at the back of a supercar convoy, at least 20 of them. Well, supercar-ish. As well as Ferraris and Lambos and GT3s, I could see a Cebera, a 4C, obligatory Nissan GT-R.
Really enjoyed hanging onto the back of a supercar convoy.
I followed as far as the A43, and even though I was heading east, I decided to follow them west. It turns out there is a Supercar Sunday at Silverstone, as well as the British GT championship.

Edit: actually the A43 is really north/south from the A5 junction, not east/west, but I’m sure you know what I mean.

Best viewing was an enzo and an f50 spider (obviously in convoy) pulled by the cops! (A43)

Couple of spots today in Corby. Firstly at lunch I think it was a Lexus SC500 in yellow creeping over the speed bumps. Then around 5 followed a nice looking and sounding Vauxhall / Holden Monaro.

BTCC was at Rockingham at the weekend and the Ginettas support that. I guess it must've came from there. Probably popped out for some lunch. Nice to see either way. They are a bit smaller than I imagined.

I’ve just seen a DeLorean in Kingsthorpe! Heading north past the BP garage on Harborough Road.
The last time I saw one on the road wa more than 20 years ago.
