Upholster recommendation needed
Discussion
Hi
My wife gets really bad back ache after any reasonable journey in my car. I bought a wedge to make the seat flatter and it helps but I want to get something better for her made up.
I'm looking for someone around Northampton who can make a very firm foam wedge (possibly with a wooden board as the core to make it really firm). I want to get it made to match the black leather with red stitching I have in the car (though may get the underside done in suede). Anyone know of someone who may be able to help me with this?
Thanks

Speak to Rob Glanister at Alfred Tear http://www.alfredtear.co.uk He's recovered motorbike seats and all sorts of other bits for me ;-)

I've had a fair bit of work done by Dave on my Elise S1 and I can thoroughly recommend him.You could try Auto Trim at Great Horwood - www.autotrimmer.co.UK
When I first had my black CLK Merc I had a small issue with my seat and he was brilliant plus good value. Take a look in his workshop at some of the classic restoration projects he has on the go whilst you are there. I think that you will find others in the family have used him too
