Hi all, i'm going on a factory tour of Cosworth in Northampton (NN5 5RA) towards the end of this month on a friday morning, need to be there around 9am i believe but thinking i'll travel early to avoid too much traffic so will be looking for a Cafe for breakfast beforehand smile
Requirements will be that it needs to be within approx 20 mins or so from Cosworth, have it's own half decent sized safe car park as there may be a group of us and open no later than 8am or ideally maybe even earlier !

Over to you, the local collective......all suggestions welcomed. Thanks in advance smile

This one is probably the closest, American style diner, reasonable car park outside

http://www.buddiesrestaurants.com/sixfields.html

Probably 5 min drive from there to Cosworth down Walter Tull Way

A little bit further away you have https://jackshillcafe.co.uk or a little bit further away still http://www.supersausagecafe.co.uk. Both have regular car/bike meets and have decent car parks

I live round the corner from Buddies - but would second the vote for Jack's Hill Cafe. Buddies is ok but for value for money you can't beat Jack's.

The Aviator Hotel at Sywell aerodrome is 10 miles from there. They do an excellent breakfast for £7.50, have good parking with lots of nice metal around, and in nice surroundings. It's all art deco but in a cool sort of way, and it's fun to watch the aircraft come and go as you eat.

Super Sausage, behind the train station. It's a greasy spoon, but a good one.

It's the only one I've been to. If the others are even better I will have to investigate one morning!
