Been circling the Northampton area for the last couple of hours. I believe it is doing a flight with spitfire in tow(?). The Vulcan to the Sky trust had a raffle with prize of being a passenger in the spit during the flight. Not a bad prize... !

We were watching it fly about yesterday, at times there were 3 propeller planes flying in formation with it, couldn't tell what type of planes they were, but they looked tiny in comparison. It was surprising how we could hear the prop planes more than the Vulcan.

Tried taking a few photos on my phone, but they didn't come out very well.

as usual I missed all this but I did get a couple of distance sightings on the Vulcan and could hear it more when it was out of sight
