Can anyone recommend an equine vet in South Northants (Towcester) area? There are several in the area but I would like to have a personal recommendation to help me choose.

Thank you!

I think we use Baskerville Horgan & Partners (Barrettstown) for all of our horses. They are based in Aylesbury, but travel out as far as you. I'll check with the better half as she knows much more about it than me.

Edit: Other half has added Swanspool are good and have looked after some of ours in the past when they were out Olney way.

Always used Avonvale Equine for my horses. First class and can't fault them. Good on-sight clinic and surgery if your horse needs attention away from home.

Thanks everyone for your help and advice. I have chosen a vet and hope (and expect) that all will be fine - especially that I won't need to call on their services except for the usual vaccinations!

Just seen this. We use Towcester vets for both our horses and many people at our yard also use them. They are very good.
