Anyone used these guys? http://www.smartalloynorthamptonshire.co.uk or any recommendations?

I don't won't to go the whole hog and send mine off for a £400 refurb as the cars only worth 3x that but figure a reasonable job would be well worth it for my Style 66's

I had my wheels on my car done by Awesome Wheels yesterday. Excellent job for a good price.

Paul's very very good - he's looked after my wheels for a few years now, I'd not consider anyone else IMHO.

Exel Wheels - They do a proper job rather than a quick repair and will come to you with a loan set of wheels. Not the cheapest but the best I've found.

For a quick repair I've also used Awesome wheels.

Here's what Paul (Awesome Wheels) did for me yesterday. I'm very happy with the service and outcome. He checked with me three times before we got the colour I wanted spot on.

I'll make sure the positive comments get back to Paul. My uncle works with him.

If you just want to tidy them up on the cheap, consider doing it yourself.
I did a few sets years ago and was well impressed with them considering the cost of some paint and sand paper.

I didn't even bother rubbing them down completely, just any rough bits and course sand paper will even smooth out light curbing/scrapes too.
Mask off the tyres carefully and put on a few light coats of etch primer.
Rub that down with wet & dry if needed to get a nice smooth finish.
Put on 4-5 coats of silver or whatever colour you want, then 3 or 4 coats of laquer.
Job done, all for under 30 quid. It can make a huge difference looks wise for a weekends work.

These were both done by me

The gf's Mini alloys are starting to look a little rough due to a bit of bubbling and stains, so will be doing those soon too smile
