I will soon need the Rover to have a full wheel aligment check as the whole steering system (box, idler and all likages) have been off the car.

Can anyone recommend someone that is likely to be have experience with such a car?

I don't really want to go to an outfit like Tyres Northampton because they are unlikely to have dealt with such a set up before.

Hi Alan, No idea if they have experience but I'd consider Northampton Motorsport. Worthy a call at least.

Thanks Simon. I'll have a chat with them but it really needs an old school type mechanic.

It shouldn't need a specialist; assuming it's steering box/drag link/track rod then providing you tell them what toe it should be any decent tyre place should be able to do it for you.

But there's the thing Nick, finding a 'decent tyre place' and defining decent wink
