Northants pistonheads meet ?

Have been asked if there is one and where and when ? If not where is the nearest pistonheads meet for this area ?

believe you just missed the one in Feb or March was held at silverstone. Towards the end of summer there should be another there but held at the porshe center in Silverstone trackside. other than that good luck its a decent drive.

Steve try the Herts/Beds/Bucks(?) forum or have a look at the Dove House run thread - most Northants PHers only seem to turn out for meets if they include drool cars (celebrity culture to blame? knowing the price of everything and but not the value of most things?)

is that not part of the appeal of the meets though Nigel, to have a drool over other people's cars, and if you are lucky get to see some metal that you wouldn't normally see everyday? Nothing's changed in the 9+ years I've been a member

Matt what I meant was some only come out if the 'correct' cars are there to drool over and be associated with, they stay well away when the 'correct' cars aren't there

their choice of course but they're a bit like fair weather home supporters

what it meant it possibly seems is that the Northants meets and runs have dried up

Depending on where you are in the County, Ashby Folville in Leicestershire is not that far...saw my first Ferrari 330 America at the last meet of 2012.

Evenley is up and running again for 2013. First meet was earlier in the month with a good turn out if you are into variety...MG Midget to Lola T70 rep.

It's the first Sunday of the month at the pub on the green (for a leisurely breakfast).

Earls Barton car/bike meet is tonight I think, being the last wednesday of the month, looks like a good day for it!

Everyone is welcome along to the meet at Dove House on the 19th May. We will be having a run out, although the logistics could be interesting based on the potential number of cars showing up!

Quite a variety of meets then despite a regular Northants location, would like to get to some of these in the 7 !

The next Evenley meet is this coming Sunday. It's always the first Sunday of the month and we meet at The Red Lion pub who open up at 9.30 am for us and serve bacon butties too.

Evenley is one minute away from Brackley.
