The end of an Era
Discussion
Well, after 5 years of fun I have finally sold the Westy. It has been sold to a real Petrolhead from Teeside, after he had a ride in it at the NEC earlier this year.
It's going to a good home, that's the main thing.
Oh we'll, roll on the summer when I order my C63.
Happy new year all.
Dave

I hope you've told the new owner he's got to take on your regulars at the NEC (Robert's Lagonda is back with the new owner and refurb next year)
He is already a member of the Bears, following his dream ride this year, so the car will be present next year.He also has a Cerbera and a Jag XJR.
hi guys.
I'm the new owner of Dave's Westy - I picked it up earlier today and its now safely back in Teesside.
Was nice meeting Dave again - a very genuine guy and the car performed exactly as it was meant to!
Didnt have the best road conditions so took it fairly easy - cant wait for some dry roads!
You will all no doubt see some threads on the car over the next few month and I will hopefully be attending some of the bears events this year.
Cheers
Chris

best to get used to it in less than ideal conditions and keep that learnt caution for dry roads too, it's almost as much a beast as Dave himselftake it easy, it must haven taken Dave about 4 years to learn not to drive it as he did when he first got it, I think he only sold it to get out of being a passenger whilst I drove it - blast my short-arse legs and fixed seats

great news, whilst the car is unkown to the public in the North-West it is quite well known at the NEC Sporting Bears Dream Rides and has, as I sure Dave told you, a set of repeat passengers and whilst they might return for the thunder of the car and Dave's spirited driving it wasn't for his looks what am I going to do with all the badges though - 'My underwear survived a ride with Dave in the Westie, just'
