Trip into north wales 6th January 2012
Discussion
As its been very quite on here lately thought I would post this up.
I have Planed a trip into north wales on sunday 6th jan (new date) with a few mates, There used to be a few of us northants folks who used to go on run outs (you know who you are) In the past so if any of you or any newbie's fancy joining us your more than welcome. The more interesting motors the better.
Below is the schedule.
Meet at watford gap services M1 (northbound) at 8am leaving at 8.15am, (1st meeting point)
Getting to telford services M54 (west bound) at 9.30am, (2nd meeting point)
Breakfast and coffee leaving at 10.30am.
On into north wales.
We will be doing a loop though the snowdonia national park on some nice roads with great scenery, Stopping for lunch at about 1.30pm-ish with stops on route for pic's and more coffee if any one needs it. After lunch we will start heading back, Should be back at 6/7pm i would think
Total of approx 330 miles.
There are 12 of us at the moment and as i have said before this a nice drive out not a flat out run,
Cheers Tim

It's a shame it went that way, the northants runs from the old days were always awesome, just ended up being too big with too many people turning up that were mates of mates driving like tossers.A Hyundai i30 and a seat altea aren't really conducive for hooning anymore
The last Northants run I went on was earlier this year, ending up at Potterspury Super Sausage, with a carpark full of bikers. I was driving a white M535i, and had a mate in tow in a Boxster.
I try to have a regular peruse of the Northants thread to see if anything is going on locally, and, compared to previous years, it has been quiet. I can usually make most Sundays and try to bring at least a mate or two in their cars.
Bad news for this run is, I have unswerving family duties.
Good news for future is, I work at Dove House in Rushden. Whilst we intend to have another fully blown Sunday Service in 2013, I suspect there would be no problem using the carpark as a meeting up point for a future Northants Run.
Without wishing to hijack anything, we could even invite some of our local customers along to help swell numbers.
