Bike Theft - Daventry
Discussion
Last night my garage was broken in to and my Mountain Bike was stolen.
It was Scott Genius MC20.
Probably the best photo I have of it is this one;
For those that don't knwo the Genuis MC 20, quick run down on spec;
[*]Frame: Genius MC Carbon CR1 technology. ILS kinematic 3D custom butted 6061 alloy swingarm. Scott TC 3 modus 130mm rear travel with remote control. HMF
[*] Forks: Fox 32 Talas RL. Air spring lockout & rebound. 3 Travel position 100-120-140mm. Alloy steerer
[*]Gears: Shimano Deore LX front and SRAM X-9 long cage rear derailleurs
[*]Shifters: SRAM X-9 trigger with adjustable clamp and matchmaker clamp
[*]Chainset: Truvativ Firex 3.3 Giga X Pipe 44/32/22
[*]Brakes: Avid Juicy 5 with 185mm front and 160mm rear rotors
[*]Wheels: Mavic Crossride rims built on Mavic Crossride hubs
[*]Handlebars: Scott MC OS pro 2014 alloy with 12mm rise
[*]Stem: Scott MC Pro 4 bolt clamp with 6 degree angle
[*]Saddle: Scott racing
[*]Seatpost: Scott RC 03-60 34.9mm
Distinguishing marks were;
> Shimano clip in pedals (Not XT or XTRs just plain Simano)
> 2 slight tears on saddle, 1 on the nose the other on the right hand rear wing (if that's what it's called)
> Nobby Nic Tyre on the rear and Racing Ralf on the front
> Metal Bull Bars on the handle bars which were quite scuffed.
> Garmin mounting Bracket
> Scott saddle pouch with 2 spare tyres, levers, patches in
The rear brakes were in need of adjustment so unless the theiving bds know what they're doing they might go somewhere to seek help/advice as the wheel was virtually locked (rideable with a lot fo effort)
Unfortunately, I can't find the frame number anywhere.
So, if anyone local hears/sees such a bike please let me know.
Thanks in advance
