kettering Autospray / A E Smiths

Anyone had experience with Kettering Autospray on cunliffe drive or A E Smiths in Kettering ?

Just been to see them to get some quotes for a minor repair. Awaiting prices at the moment.

Been to A E Smiths and they wanted £1700 :|
Did some searching on here and found a chap called Rob had taken his Ferrari to Bedford Body in Wellingborough, he quoted me £450. Result.

The owners of AE Smiths have been family friends since the mid 70's, theyve always done high quality work, but can be expensive

Have used Kettering Autospray. Found then quite efficient and accommodating. Overall job was good too, no ripples or runs and can do minor repairs too!

You could try Jack Thomas , he runs eco automotive from a small unit in Kettering .
He worked for Smiths 20+ years ago and set up Kettering bodycraft with a mate then went on to do consultancy in the USA . He has a small operation now but knows his stuff . He quted me some work on my Tam and it was very reasonable ( i am waiting for a few more stone chips before doing the work )

Thanks for the responses everyone. A E Smiths were the most expensive but they seemed the most professional by a mile, pointed out loads of things no other company spotted heh.
