Thanks for the info I will check them out.
Any other recommendations anyone? Plenty of nice cars in the area there must be some decent washers and polisher around. We use the guys at the BP garage near the station for the Discovery and they do a great job but looking for something better for the f-car.

You could try Dusty Miller at 37 Hood Street, Northampton (01604 627613) I've had a couple of cars valeted by him and was very pleased with what he did (didn't recognise one of them when I went to collect it)!
Neither of mine were quite as special as a f-car though so you might want to go see him / have a chat first.

Djdestiny from here has done mine in the past, also have a guy call Tom from addiction to detail do my m5 and mps recently rs a mobile guy everything from a £20 wash to £350 full on 3 day job, he also does proper wheel refurbs, check http://www.addictiontodetail.co.uk/ for his contact details
Try this guy he is seen as one of the best, he is based in kent but he does travel http://facebook.com/vxrmarc Known as Heavenly detail ive seen his work on veyrons and konenzegs plus lots of uks top moddified cars
Your link doesn't work but I've done some googling and from what I can gather he is a full on detailing perfectionist. The story about his new Astra and asking the dealer not to touch it or remove any transportation film from it or anything before he got his hands on it rings a bell.
This would be massively OTT for me - basically I'm lazy and just want someone to wash and clean the car and get all the dead flies off and wax / seal it before the bad weather sets in as I cba spending half a day on it only to do it wrong. I'm not looking for "Dripping wet look mirror finish having taken 0.0005microns on paint off using my magic clay bar that cos me £3000 for 100g" because as soon as I drive the car a few miles up the road to the stable yard through a couple of muddy puddles it will be dirty again.

fair enough just thought you might either want something special used or suppliedI live next door to a chap that does valeting and I've been known to clean the odd car but only ordinary and minor league stuff - but I'm not risking either of us on a car like that, sorry
however, as I’m posting, a car like that is always welcome at the Sporting Bears Dream Rides at the NEC in three weeks time, see –
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... drivers and passengers required (next to MPH Show)
TBH I was thinking you were another Matt - far too many Matts in this section - so was expecting a smaller car, I'm too lazy to do theses wide and intricate cars and I just use ordinary mutton cloth now so mico-scracthes
Cheers, we usually get a good turn out but could always do with a few more exotic and supercars if only to offer a choice of colours
plus Harsh (with 360) gets lost a lot, poor old boy, the bundle of string just isn’t long enough to take his detours
