Anyone fancy meeting at 15A services on M1 (north bound) for a run down to silverstone for this sunday service, Meet at say 8,45 for a 9,15 depart and getting down there for about 9,30ish,

Is 9:15 a bit late to be leaving the services? Gates open at 9am and I heard last year there were massive traffic problems getting in. The A43 can be a PITA when there is an event on.

Massive as in took about 10 min's to get in last year, Your only talking about 600 odd cars and i dont think that will block the A43, But i am open to changing times if anyone thinks its to late or early but we will easy be in for 9.45/10.00 i would think and i dont think we need to be any earlier than that as after an hour or two you would have seen every thing,

The problem last year was getting everyone parked at the Porsche Centre, rather than access to the circuit itself or the A43.

don't know what route you are planning, but might be worth coming in from the Stowe end rather than off the A43, the Britcar 24 is on that weekend so traffic might be a little bit heavier around the main enterance

Fair enough. 600 cars might not block the A43 but there is the Britcar traffic too. Not been before so I will bow to the expert knowledge, was just asking.
