After eight months at the body shop my baby is finally coming home.
I went to see it today and she looks amazing. Complete respray including roll bar, new chassis,all new front suspension, including new roll bar, corner weighted, geometry set up all by Westfield. All new fuel lines,brake pipes,majority of the wiring replaced. It looks amazing, especially for a 21 year old seight.
I think the name Ratty will need to be changed. Hopefully be at the Earls Barton meet next week.

hopefully it'll make September and SBDR at the NEC in November

pity you both missed ASDA Day you could have took some of the heat off the Atom drivers

Why would it need a service, it hasn't been on the road in eight months! They have changed the oil,gearbox oil, coolant.
She's good to go for another 12 months, MOT hopefully tomorrow pm.

changing the fluids isn't the only aspect of servicing but it's probably had to be all done - I bet they couldn't believe what a state one of their cars could get into by one small accident

I bet they even put a relief in so you can fill the fuel tank

ETA: it was translucent colour before

Same colour as I had no say on that. Although the new nose cone is a much brighter yellow that it was so that isnwhy they sprayed the roll bar to match.
Sorry no pictures at moment, but i have ordered my replacement ph stickers!!!

Picked it up today, great to be back in it. The car looks amazing, took it for it's MOT and it went straight through. Just going to wit till the 1st of the month to tax it. Got a track day at cur borough in September.
So who is going to organise a hoon then.
Will be at the earls Barton monthly next wednesday and may go to the next Sunday service at MB world if anyone fancies organising a run down.
