Sorrento Wedding
Discussion
Hi all,
Long, long time lurker on PH (probably 5+ years) but first time poster!
I am getting married next year in Sorrento and wondered if any other PH'ers had done so? Any recommendations for caterers, bands, planners and of course..cars!
We are going on Sunday night for 4 nights to get a feel for the area, so would appreciate some recommendations.
Thanks
Dan

No but have stayed there a lot. Rent cars from Naples it is nearby and cheaper.
The views are awesome from the Sorrento side and the ambience is even better on the Amalfi coast side, along with the driving but it will tire you out... sorrento - amalfi - salerno is an excellent drive, then take the A3 back towards Naples to get back to Sorrento.

We got married last August just below Sorrento in Massa Lubrense. Utterly fabulous if I do say so myself!
We hired a fairly dull MK6 Golf cabrio diesel, but as we were getting married down south then touring most of Northern Italy on honeymoon it was great really.
Didn't bother with a planner, seems like a waste of cash tbh. Most of the venues you look at can organise everything you would imagine.
