Greetings from Emilia Romagna! Well, I thought Route Napoleon was OK, but not a patch on the route I took last year, which was to go into Switzerland, and go over the Alps via Davos, Klosters pass etc, before cutting across to Stelvio.

The best bit of the drive this time was the Italian coast road, LOTS of tunnels and some challenging bends if you're pressing on ( for that read keeping up with the suicidal nutters on the motorbikes! )

So in summary, go the Verdun, Strasbourg, Switzerland route, it is much more fun!

Seen a few nice British cars out today. Greetings to the black Aston vantage convertible we passed on some bizarre small road ! Strangely very little local exotica out though, despite thebcracking weather..
