Passo Di Gavia
Discussion
I recently found myself on the Gavia Pass after driving over the Stelvio Pass. In my 986, complete with let's-frighten-all-the-Swiss stainless steel headers and dual exhaust. Now THAT is a scary pass. Narrow road built onto the side of the mountain, no crash barriers, sharp 90 degree bends with no hope of seeing anything coming the other way, rockfalls, cracking road surface (and I don't mean in the positive sense). What a rush....
Until I 'discovered' the Staller Sattel....and the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse....
