Hotel recommendations inn Bescia / Lake Garda
Discussion
Just stayed in Sirmione on Lake Garda twice in one week, can recommend Hotel Marconi. It's at the tip of the peninsula, and you have to drive over the drawbridge and through the castle to get to it, after passing the police checkpoint.
All very surreal, and it seems as though you are driving through a pedestrianised street but actually somehow it's allowed.
Our rooms were 100 euro, I think, and the parking was fine for me and my red car..

Thanks for the recommendation. Couldn't get rooms there but area looked so good you inspired me and I managed to find another hotel also with parking in the old town.
