Looking to stop there on the way driving down to Tuscany from Zurich.

Looking for something nice, reasonably priced with safe parking for my tiv and mates BMW.

Just stayed in Sirmione on Lake Garda twice in one week, can recommend Hotel Marconi. It's at the tip of the peninsula, and you have to drive over the drawbridge and through the castle to get to it, after passing the police checkpoint.

All very surreal, and it seems as though you are driving through a pedestrianised street but actually somehow it's allowed.

Our rooms were 100 euro, I think, and the parking was fine for me and my red car..

Another recommendation for the Marconi. We had a brilliant stay there a few years ago. Sirmione is very nice.

It's a great place. Yes, took it for a tour of the factory. Now for sale to pay for our wedding!

Arrived in Sirmione tonight in the dark and the pouring rain. Not the best way to do it but entrance through the castle was quite fun.
