Lake Como to Stalvio HELP

Can someone help please, we are going to Lauterbrunnen, Lake Como then on to Stalvio to meet my son who is doing a cycle tour around Stalvio. My problem is we will be driving a 7 meter motorhome and not sure about rout. Looking at Google maps going to Stalvio from Lake Como looks a bit hair raising and not sure if it is possible to do the journey in a Motorhome, the SS38 road looks a bit, well what can I say steep up a mountain. Does anyone know if it is possible as we have never done this type of thing before.
