Hi.

Your photos have been linked to the Gilbern Owners Club site so someone may be in contact. In the mean time, do you know the cars registration number or chassis number? Am I right in saying it's an estate? Are you shifting the whole car or just parts? It's not clear from your ad.

Best Wishes,
Wayne.

Hi..

Would love to know the reg number or the chassis number if you could as I am trying to keep track of all the Gilbern Estates.
Any more pictures would also be much appreciated if you could e-mail them..

Just been for another root through this car.
I have found a suitcase full of documents relating to the car/gilbern owners club. including Rarebit magazines dated from sept 86 to June 92.
There are MOT certificates relating to a registration number OHK872K along with various cut outs advetising services, and reams of Gilbern Owners club newsletters and members lists.
There is a fair bit of literature addressed to a Mr G D Payne.
I seem to remember a few bits on engines... timings etc, and spare parts etc.
Is this of any use to anyone? Maybe the club has an archive section? or someone is trying to track down an old car.
There is also a registration plate knocking around CPM50K. I'm not sure if this is off the car or something else.
Just thought it might ring some bells with someone?

Hello Beachbuggyman,

I'm interested in viewing your gilbern estate I have some knowledge of gilberns and live locally. It would be disappointing to see a gilbern scrapped ! Could you email me through the forum so we can arrange a date for viewing?

Cheers,
Colin

Ha ! This is the man who "cornered the market" in Gilberns hoping the prices would go up !!

Well known to the Club...

He keeps floating stuff on FleaBay.

He did the same with Maserati BiTurbos (allegedly ...)
