Anyone interested?
Discussion
May I introduce myself, I am Richard, a former Gilbern GT owner myself, reg no. TNH 177, my Dad and I sold it about 2 years ago now to a guy who was going to restore it into a full FIA racing car.
I am a Vehicle Design graduate form Coventry University, I graduated in 2005 with a 2(i).
I am looking for an opportunity to create a new car from scratch. With a little help and interest from other parties maybe I could create the next Gilbern?
Gilberns are still very close to my heart and I really need to break into the small production car market, because that is where my heart lies. Being a student for the past 7 years, I do not have the financial clout behind me to justify starting my own business.
I was wondering who owned the right to manufacture Gilbern Cars as a brand?
Would anyone be interested?
PS I am not scared of a little hard graft to get this project off the ground.
Many thanks
Richard

Hello Richard,
In answer to your question the GOC own the Copyrights to the gilbern name and several of the logos. If you do happen to find the financial backing you need and are serious about producing the next 'gilbern', speak to the GOC club Sec, Peter Daye at peter.daye@gilbernoc.co.uk
Good luck to you
