I'm catching the ferry accross to Calais then off to Delft on Thursday night in my Focus RS which can only drink super unleaded.

Is it readily available at most petrol stations? Whats the ball park figure of how much it costs..

95 or 98 octane?
Both are available about everywhere. Prices in Belgium around the 1.45-1.48EU per litre mark for 98, 95 is about 2-3 cents cheaper

Ron98 is quite difficult to find nowadays. Super unleaded sold from almost all outlets is Ron95 "with additives". There's a few places that still sell it though.

Let me know if you need some local Delft knowledge.

I'm another Delft-inhabitant, if that's of any interest. I also like beer.

I've spent a few days in Delft now, am surprised at how quiet it is.. Even Den Haag isnt very busy..

We've found a flat in Archipel, Den Haag.. I'm going to be making regular trips over.. so might have to catch up with you guys one day..

PS.. is that a motorcross in between Delft and Plaspoelpolder? Looks fun !!

Here another TIV'er from Delft. There are Tinq and BP gas stations around in Delft who still have 98 RON. Let me know if you need more details.

Cheers,
Peter.

God, Delft turns out to be a PH Hotspot, what a shocker. So, what's going to be our headquarters lads? Kobus Kuch?

Hmm, Kobus is always a good idea although the Proeflokaal is closer to my place smile

But yeah, happy to do PH drinks anytime!

PS I happen to work in the Plaspoelpolder - no Motorcross I'm afraid, just a little mountain biking and a golf course.

PPS No, I don't work for Shell smile

I like Proeflokaal better than Kuch (because of the music), but that does not really matter.
Shame that at both locations we can not park our cars anywhere near.

Cheers,

That is a very good point. Difficult to think of a nice place that would cater for this though.

This place in Delftse Hout is nice when the sun's out and has parking.

Cafe Einstein Has parking in front and het "Klassiekercentrum" next door.

This is proper downmarket but very convenient.

This Quite possibly too upmarket.

This May be just the thing.

Any input/suggestions?

Hmm, I rather like Knus (http://www.knus.nl/) in the Delftse Hout and there's parking nearby too.

I couldn't follow most of your other links, I think because our net at work is being crap but if one of your suggestions was De Zwethheul, then it is indeed awesome and bloody expensive smile

Knus is nice but I left it out as parking is around 150 meters away and maybe less suitable for tire kicking.

Yes, Zwetheul was in the list, bloody marvelous.

I still live in Delft and am a PH'er.
It is getting harder and harder to find 98 over here. Tinq and BP are the closest, but BP have those nasty handles on the nozzle which make it difficult to fill up in a Chim anyway.

Yeah, I stick to V-power 95 these days. I just make sure I don't look at the price as I pin :/

Still need to sort our a drink in Delft at some point as there appears to be loads of us!
