Will be working in Nijmegen for a few months, arriving on Sunday. Only bringing the snotter with me.

anything I should know about living in the Netherlands? cheap hotel chains until I find an apartment or hosueshare would be a useful start.

Well I've found a house to live in, sat here now enjoying it, far better than a B&B. Am heading home this weekend, so will be able to bring back enough spices to make a decent curry. I've found enough bars in the town centre to get drunk in on a Saturday, shame that the best curry house in Nijmegen is shut for a couple of weeks whilst the owners are on holiday.

All we need now is to sort out an interweb connectin other than a Vodaphone dongle. Works out too expensive watching internet porno vids with it.

I'll also be bringing my bicycle back with me, second hand ones here are too expensive for an indeterminate stay.

Settling in steadily, would have been nice to have rented a house with a garage but it took long enough to sort this place out. Will have to put up without having the Porsche here.
