Is it a pain in the arse?
Seriously though, all being well I should be making a move to Maastricht in about 3 weeks time with work. In the short term English will get me by, but id like to learn Dutch!
My preconceptions are that's its going to be a right b@stard! How true is this? Are there any good courses/books/CD's?
And of course anyone here in the Maastricht area?
See you soon I hope.

I am Scottish living in Antwerpen now for 7 years. I will be a proud owner of a 1998 TVR Chimaera as of Saturday. Collect the beast from Fernhurst, England. I learnt the language by reading the news papers and daring to speak to everyone in Dutch. You pick it up very quickly this way. Who dares wins!
Berlitz have good CD's for the car.
Good luck
