Where to stay in or near Apeldoorn?

I'm doing a 2 day tour of some sites in the Netherlands for work at the end of the week and will be looking to stay in, or somewhere near Appeldoorn on Thursday evening, can anyone recommend anywhere and what is Appledorn like?

Apeldoorn wasn't looking great, I've now booked something in Arnham.

Arnhem is a nicer area then Apeldoorn but you really need to be in or around the Delft area as it appears that's where Dutch PH members seem to live

Arnhem or apeldoorn are both boring, I just moved to Utrecht to get out of there
